Cuddington Youth Drama
Cuddington Youth Drama meets at the Bernard Hall, Cuddington every Saturday morning in term time between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm, for three hours of drama, improvisation and singing with the emphasis firmly on fun.
Each year we stage at least one show, which might be a play, a musical, an improvised drama, a singing recital – or perhaps a combination of all of these! Past productions include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Return to the Forbidden Planet, Honk! Jr, Peter Pan, The Search for Odysseus, The Aristocats Kids, Oliver!, Fiddler on the Roof Jr., Alice in Wonderland and several singing recitals and improv performances.
Our latest major production was Annie, during the autumn half-term week in 2024.
CYD is run by Elaine English, a professional actress and drama tutor. The group is open to all children and teenagers aged between 7 and 17 from Cuddington and the surrounding area.
