We are a primary school spread across two village sites; the Infant site based here in Cuddington and the Junior site in our neighbouring village of Dinton. We have some 180 pupils ranging between the ages of 4 and 11.
We welcome visits from prospective parents and extend a warm invitation to local residents to attend our events and services outlined in our calendar. Please visit our main website (see link above) where you will be able to access our calendar and read about current activities and news.
The school is privileged to enjoy strong links with supportive local communities and the church, relishing the history and traditions of our villages whilst moving our school and, most importantly, our pupils’ education forward. Being a Voluntary Aided Church of England school our Christian orientation and focus are essential to our mission; click to download the school’s Vision and Values.

Every seven years, the School’s Admissions Authority is required to consult publicly on its admissions policy. The consultation period for the September 2021 entry ended on 24th January and no comments were received (very little had changed in the policy).

A recent May procession
Friday 24th May 9.00am
The Infant children will be doing their annual flower procession round the village on Friday 24th May.
They will leave the school soon after 9.00am and will be singing on Lower Green and the top end of Bernard Close by the Playing Fields.
They love to be able to present their posies to residents as they process round the village so please look out for them!
The procession will end up back at school for the traditional dancing and everyone is welcome to come back to see that!
As a Voluntary Aided School, Cuddington and Dinton C of E School is subject to a SIAMS inspection (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools). Historically this used to run in parallel to Ofsted inspections but it now stands separately and effectively examines just how the school’s Christian Vision translates into daily and practical behaviours and results.
The school was inspected at the end of November last year. The result was a very positive “Good” and the Key Findings were:

Lots of exciting stalls including Jazzy Lily Jewellery, Pink Peony, Just 1 More, Christmas candle holders/table centre pieces, chocolate tombola, the very popular human fruit machine featuring the teachers, handmade crafts by the children along with refreshments, plenty of games for the children and a personal appearance from Father Christmas!!

On Monday 9th October at 3.00pm the school will be holding a Harvest Produce Sale on the Infant site here in Cuddington, where we will be selling all the fresh items that were brought to both the school and church Harvest Festivals.
All monies raised will go to Christian Aid's Rohingya Crisis Appeal

This year we will be starting a little later than usual at 10.30am and ending back at school for dancing.
The school was delighted to welcome Mrs Milly Soames DL, High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire, (and resident of Cuddington!) on a special visit today.
She visited both Infant and Junior sites and was able to see the children in all of the classrooms and ask questions about their learning.
They also had the chance to ask her about her role and there is a full report of the visit in the March issue of Village Voice.

School Harvest Thanksgiving 2016
Both Infant and Junior site children filled St Nicholas' Church this morning, 10th October, for a Harvest Thanksgiving Service.
There was a wonderful array of gifts presented by the children (see picture) which would be sent to Aylesbury Vineyard for distribution to needy famlies and individuals.
School Helper and Parent Jo Goodson led the service and focused her message to the children on giving and sharing – particularly food and water. She used the reference to water to introduce us all to the Toilet Twinning project that Nic Nacs have been involved in. Look out in Village Voice for further information on this next month!
There was lots of enthusiastic singing of songs about food and giving!

School’s Performance Data
We are delighted to report that Cuddington and Dinton C of E School was placed 5th out of 214 Primary schools in Buckinghamshire based on pupils’ progress.
This is a very commendable achievement and as a result of the school’s overall standing in the recently-published performance tables our MP, John Bercow, wrote a very welcome and encouraging letter of congratulations to our Headteacher, Kim Price.

We are pleased that we now in a position to build a new headteacher’s office onto the side of the school building on the Infant site.
Work is due to begin on this next week, commencing 2nd February. We hope this work won’t take much more than about four weeks and the contractor, Phil Gollins, will be as careful as possible about not causing undue disruption to residents.
